The Covid-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly and Coast Mountain College is taking steps to protect the health of students and staff.
Classes will be temporarily suspended from Mar. 18 to Mar. 20, giving time for instructors, senior administrators and the team at the Centre for Learning Transformation to identify and implement distributed learning models as alternatives for face-to-face teaching and learning.
The College will try to find solutions that fit each program and course. Also where possible they will be implementing tech-based learning solutions. Students should be prepared for a variety of solutions depending on the nature of the program and courses. This will all begin on Monday, Mar. 23, students are advised to speak with their instructors to find out what changes will be coming to their courses.
In the best interest of employees at Coast Mountain College, they are encouraged to discuss work-from-home options with their supervisors or managers.
