Over the past Easter Weekend, the Kitimat RCMP held a food drive. Practicing physical distancing and wearing protective equipment they helped raise money and collected food.
“Even in trying times, the generosity of so many people proved strong and will go a long way to help those who may be less fortunate than others,” said Sgt. Eric Black, Kitimat Detachment.
In total, the Kitimat RCMP, including Cst. Giroux, Cst. Humphrey, Cst. Muckle, and Cpl. McKinnon collected over $2000 worth of food and over $3000 in cash donations.
