Port Edward continues to experience increased wolf activity in the area.
On Monday, the Conservation Officer Service (COS) found and destroyed a wolf that resembled a wolf from a human attack that took place last weekend. Another wolf was sited this morning in the Port Edward area. The COS was called and is aware of the situation, they are back again today in the area.
Residents are asked to keeps dogs and cats under control and indoors as traps and snares have been set. Children are also asked to be more cautious as there is a high level of wolf activity.
