The B.C. government has extended the provincial state of emergency again today.
This is all in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic. The extending of the state of emergency allows Mike Farnworth Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General to continue to use extraordinary powers under the Emergency Program Act to support the Province’s respond to the pandemic.
Premier John Horgan says that things are slowly and carefully reopening but it’s important to remember that we are not out of the woods yet.
The state of emergency is extended through the end of the day on Jun. 23.
