B.C.’s Human Rights Commissioner Kasari Govender will be hosting a virtual townhall for people in B.C.’s Northwest.
It will take place on Thursday Jun. 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be an opportunity to engage via Zoom.
It will be a two hour session where people from the Northwest can talk about the human rights issues impacting their lives and share information about rights and responsibilities under B.C. law.
Govender says, “people in the Northwest face unique challenges. I look forward to connecting directly with people from the area about the issues that they are facing.”
This session is open to the public and anyone looking to attend should RSVP at bchumanrights.ca under the events tab.
