People in Masset and Old Masset will benefit from cleaner drinking water into the future thanks to a federal-provincial grant worth over $1.2 million. The upgrade is coming to a water treatment plant that supplies potable water.
North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice says, “This upgrade will extend the life of Masset’s water treatment plant by decades, and ensure that it continues to supply high-quality water to the people that rely on it.”
The funding is coming from over $228 million in grants that are going to B.C. communities through the Canada Infrastructure Program.
