Terrace RCMP faced off against a woman wielding a pipe yesterday.
Officers were called out to the 4600 bock of Lakelse Ave. early in the morning and found a woman chasing a man with a pipe. Officers drew their weapons and told the woman that she was under arrest. She continued the pursuit despite police warning.
Officers successfully subdued the woman with a taser. The woman was taken to the hospital and medically cleared. She was then taken to a cell to sober up. She was released with a promise to appear in court at a later date.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact the Terrace detachment.
