Yesterday morning Terrace RCMP responded to a call of a single vehicle crash on Highway 16 east of the community.
A commercial vehicle with an empty flatbed went off the road and down an embankment. The driver and only person in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
As the investigation is still ongoing the cause of the crash is unknown. The B.C. Coroners Service is conducting their own investigation to determine the cause of the death.
