If you’re in the Terrace area you’ve probably heard about bears being spotted in the area.
Bears continue to be spotted across all trails, including Ferry Island, Terrace Mountain, and the Howe Creek trails. If you plan to head out to these trail systems make sure to be ready for any kind of bear encounter.
The City of Terrace has also reported that some of the bear in area signs have gone missing. The purpose of the signs is to warn people of the potential threat in the area. The City is asking everyone to leave the signs in place.
