Another milestone has been crossed in the LNG Canada project in Kitimat.
Yesterday the artwork was unveiled by Haisla Artist Paul C.E. Windsor. It was unveiled during a tour of the brand new Cedar Valley Lodge.
The Lodge will accommodate workers for the project. The facility includes, a gym, a theatre room and will also include a pub, golf simulator and rock climbing wall in the future. Health and security services will be present should the need for either arise.
Susannah Pierce Director Corporate Affairs says some of the things they’ll be working on includes making it a safe place for Indigenous people and women to work. Along with working with the local community and representing what they want.
