Tonight’s episode comes on the heels of the September long weekend, as many families gear up to send their children back to school, in what will be a year unlike any in recent history.
The COVID 19 pandemic has been a challenge to navigate to say the least, with many organizations forced to make drastic changes to the way they do business, including the education system, where many different measures have been implemented to keep staff, students and our communities safe from the Corona Virus. In our interview with Janet Meyer, Superintendent of Coast Mountain School District 82, she explains what next week will look like for both parents and caregivers, as well as the kids going back to class.
She’ll also discuss the different options available for education delivery, whether it be distance education, home schooling, or a newly unveiled third transitional option.
