Sept. 25 marked a week since the Witset First Nation went into lockdown to help slow the spread of Covid-19.
The Witset First Nation released a statement saying that they were up to 14 cases in the community. In the statement they said it was important to think of the community as they move to flatten the curve and bring the case count to zero.
They also said they are following all the province’s guidelines and that it is important that all members of the First Nation follow the rules of the lockdown.
The statement wraps up by saying, “We are in this together, be calm, be kind, be safe.
