Gerry “Big Bear” Barrett has always been an entertainer…even as a child, those around him said he was “a little out there” (his words, not mine).
Fast forward about 5 decades and it’s no wonder this performer stood out as a kid. Gerry, on top of previously having a career in radio, is a country musician and takes the stage as the King himself, Elvis Aaron Presley. He calls himself Ojibwe Elvis, and he. IS. AWESOME.
In our interview, Gerry will talk about his adoption after being a part of the 60s scoop, his radio travels, and how his brand new first single “Valley Nights” is already seeing some love.
