My father Edward Clark was in the Royal Canadian Artillery in the 2nd World War. He fought at Ortona & Monte Cassino and he was also in Holland when the Canadians liberated Holland. They were called the D-Day Dodgers!
He was born in Prince Rupert, BC in 1917 and lived there all his life. He met and married my Mom in Croydon, England. My Mom worked in the factories in Croydon during the war and they were called Rosie the Riveters.
