Michael Epp was one of the 2 artists involved in carving pieces for the new Tsimshian Cultural Exhibit unveiled recently at the YPR Prince Rupert airport.
I already got the chance to speak with Henry Kelly, carver of the dugout canoe at the exhibit, for a previous episode of Journeys, and tonight, we’re speaking to the man behind the two totem poles.
Michael joined me via zoom from Washington state, and was more than happy to talk about the beautiful poles raised, a project nearly a year in the making.
