Gerry “Oldman” Oleman’s “Teachings in the Air” podcast was set to be the topic of this show, but after hanging on his every word for about 70 minutes, I’ve decided to cut the interview up in multiple parts, with this episode focusing instead on getting to know Gerry, who’s been working to help others heal from deep trauma as a counsellor, dating as far back as 1976.
In this truly gripping interview, Gerry will speak about his experience as a young boy in residential school, and the anger and hopelessness he felt for his people and what “Teachings in the Air” really means.
