The BCCDC has released more updated information regarding case counts in the North.
In the daily briefings by Provincial Health Officials they release numbers by health region. The BCCDC has been releasing more specific case data per town.
Recently the numbers for January 17th to the 23rd were released. The Terrace area saw an increase of 58 cases. Prince Rupert had 38 cases, Kitimat had 18 cases and Smithers had 16. Burns Lake saw 11 cases while the Nechako area had 12 cases. Fort Nelson had 26 cases over this period of time while Peace River North had 31 cases. Prince George had 46 cases and Peace River South had 13 cases. Terrace continues to see the highest case growth in Northern Health.
Terrace continues to see a high rate of Covid-19 case growth. Covid-19 data is updated on Fridays by the BCCDC.
