The BCCDC has updated their Covid-19 map.
The map outlines the number of cases per city within a week period. In this case the information is from January 31 to February 6.
Terrace and Prince George continue to be hotspots in the north for Covid activity. In Terrace there were 67 cases, Prince George recorded 86 cases. For the rest of the region, Prince Rupert had 37 cases, Upper Skeena 15, Smithers 5, Burns Lake 9, Nechako 8 and Fort Nelson 17. The Nisga’a area had 9 cases and Haida Gwaii also had 9 cases.
Kamloops was the hot spot for Covid-19 activity during this reporting period seeing 161 new cases.
