As we continue our tribute to the All Native Basketball Tournament here on Journeys, we’re sitting down with another member of the CFNR broadcast team and former player Willis Parnell.
Although he now lives in the eastern part of BC, Willis has fond memories of the ANBT going back decades.
We’ll get to hear some of his highlights coming up in our interview, with Willis going over his earliest memories of the tournament after first moving from Haida Gwaii to Prince Rupert in 1980, as well as some of the rivalries that got the crowd going over the years.
