Northern Development announced today it has approved funding for eight projects totalling just over $1.9 million throughout Central and Northern B.C..
In the north a number of projects will be receiving funding for a variety of causes. The City of Terrace will receive $200,000 for the Main Street Revitalization Capital program towards enhancement of Lazelle Boulevard. Atlin will receive $232,666 for the Atlin Airport fuel system and lighting upgrade.
My Mountain Co-op will receive $300,000 to install a new beginner conveyor lift at the Shames Mountain ski area near Terrace. Fort nelson Historical Society will receive $300,000 for the Fort Nelson Heritage Museum expansion.
The projects fall under the new Community Development programs.
