Joshua Arden Miller’s new single “Solidarity” and corresponding music video dropped last month and just debuted at number 40 on Canada’s Indigenous Music Countdown.
Joshua grew up in Six Nations of the Grand River, and was surrounded by music since he was a young boy. By time he was just 15 years old, he was playing for pay in a band, and these days, he’s working on a third album.
In our interview, Joshua talks about how he got involved with the Pappy Johns Blues Band, how social media played a role in inspiring him to write Solidarity, and we’ll also get to hear the song, which I’ll describe as bluesy, rockin and uplifting all at the same time.
