We have Producer/Director and Screenwriter Jessie Anthony back with us on the show, updating us on all the wonderful things that have happened to her since we last spoke.
Our chat last year coincided with Jessie’s first feature film, “Brother, I Cry” premiering at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
That movie, based on her own personal experiences, toured the international film festival circuit, and went on to win her numerous awards, including best BC emerging filmmaker at VIFF.
In this interview, we’ll get a sneak peak at the many projects Jessie has on the go, like a new Queer Indigenous web series for APTN, a couple of music videos, and much much more.
Needless to say, she’s been keeping herself very busy since we last spoke!
