On this episode, we’ve created a Freda Diesing student and alumni Artist Spotlight, featuring 4 different Northwest Coast Artists making names for themselves not only in this area, but also overseas as well.
First up, we’ll get to hear from Henry Kelly, who we sat down with in Prince Rupert to talk about his path to becoming an artist. Then, we’ll speak with Kari Morgan, who you may from not only her artwork, but also from hearing her from time to time on CFNR.
In the second half of our show, Jaimie Davis of Jada Creations tells us about her earliest connection to making and creating art, and current student, Alexander Erickson Sr. discusses what it’s like taking the Freda Diesing program virtually throughout this pandemic.
