The BCCDC has released their regional Covid-19 data for the week of April 25 to May 1.
The Northwest continues to see a low case count. The Northeastern part of the province is still seeing higher case counts.
Prince Rupert had a single case over this reporting period, Terrace, Kitimat and Smithers all recorded 4 cases each of the virus. Nechako had 9 cases, Burns Lake 3 and upper Skeena had 1.
Fort Nelson recorded 5 cases in the far Northeast, Peace River North had 61 cases, Peace River South had 40 cases and Prince George recorded 26 cases.
Surrey continues to be a hotspot in the province recording 1671 Covid-19 cases. B.C.’s immunization plan continues, you can find all the information regarding getting vaccinated at the government of B.C.’s website.
