A man on the picket line at the Kitimat Smelter saved the life of a security guard having an allergic reaction.
Dave Brown was asking a couple of buses what they were doing on the plant and was letting them pass before he spotted a security guard in his vehicle motioning for help.
Mr. Brown initially did not want to cross the picket line but he eventually went over to the guard and noticed that he was not in very good condition.
Though it was hard for him to make out, he figured out that the guard was asking him to inject his Epipen into his thigh in order to stop his allergic reaction.
Mr. Brown did just that and the guard was very thankful after the fact.
Mr. Brown made sure to call for an ambulance after he injected the Epipen to make certain that the guard was going to be okay.
