With 41 workers testing positive for Covid at BC Hydro’s Site C project, the utility is adding restrictions for employees.
According to a company spokesman, BC Hydro had been following the BCCDC’s guidelines, but will now need harsher measures.
BC Hydro is now working with Northern Health to roll out new guidelines as soon as possible.
Those guidelines mean the more than 5 thousand workers on the project will need to either provide proof of vaccination, or a negative test from within 72 hours.
Northern Health declared the Dam the site of an outbreak earlier in the week.
