Just like the Thompson Rivers University, the Coast Mountain College is going to be requiring that their students reveal their vaccination status starting on September 7th.
This requirement is based off of the Provincial health officer putting out an order for all residents in BC to show proof that they are vaccinated in order to get access to what the province has deemed non-essential businesses.
That order will come into effect on September 13th, but people attending post-secondary school and living on-campus will need at least one dose by September 7th.
BC Colleges, an association of several different public colleges in BC that just so happens to include Coast Mountain, made sure to express their approval for B.C.’s recent COVID-19 measures in a media release from back on Aug. 27.
