With election season well underway, the candidates for the Skeena-Bulkley Valley gathered in Terrace yesterday.
Five out of the six candidates for the riding were present at the All-Candidates` Meeting, with Liberal candidate Jahkwinder Jhal the lone absentee.
Those present included NDP candidate Taylor Bachrach, Conservative Claire Rattée, Jody Craven from the PPC, and Rod Taylor of the Christian Heritage Party, with Green rep Adeana Young joining via video call.
Indigenous issues were a hot button topic throughout the evening, with all candidates weighing in.
In addition, candidates made their thoughts known on a number of other topics, including climate change, industry, social issues, and of course the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Residents head to the polls on September 20th to decide Canada`s next government.
