RCMP officers on Dawson Creek area highways have been busy in recent days.
Police from the detachment are reporting two separate events which required the deployment of tire deflation devices.
The first incident saw an erratic driver refuse to stop for police, necessitating the use of a deflation device at a further junction.
The driver was apprehended and issued a 483 dollar fine.
In the second incident, officers were forced to deflate the tires on a vehicle with three occupants.
One of the occupants was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident involving a firearm.
They face additional serious related criminal charges in addition to failing to stop for a police vehicle.
