For the first time since the start of the pandemic, Baker Creek is going to be the host for Pink Salmon, and in addition to that, the Baker Creek Enhancement Society is looking for help from the public to note the number of fish that arrive in the creek.
The program known as the Pink Salmon Patrol, is a volunteer based program that anyone of any age can join. The job of these volunteers is to walk along Baker Creek and keep track of the amount of Pink Salmon that spawn in the Creek.
The Supplies for volunteers of the program are going to be left at Bliss Coffee. Some of these supplies for these volunteers include a clipboard counting sheet, a high-visibility vest, and as a reward, stickers and free coffee will be given out.
