BC Premier John Horgan has sent out a statement saying that he and his government are considering installing tougher laws in order to stop anti vaccine protesters from interrupting the work of BC’s hospitals and schools.
Many people who are against the idea of mandatory COVID vaccines and just the vaccine in general, have been involved in a number of high profile incidents recently, such as when protestors allegedly made their way into several BC schools.
And because the protestors went to these schools to spread their message, Education officials had to lock the doors of their Schools on Monday.
Horgan also mentioned that Solicitor General Mike Farnworth and Attorney General David Eby are currently having discussing what options the province can use when it comes to this situation, like updating their already existing regulations or creating new legislation.
