Residents of Terrace will be able to take part in a walk to honor the victims of the residential school system, and their families on Thursday.
The event, put on by the Tears to Hope Society, will honor the first ever Truth and Reconciliation Day, or Orange Shirt Day.
Society rep Lorna Brown says the event will honor the memories of those impacted by the tragedies.
The event will feature a 5K walk, as well as a number of other events such as an open mic, and drum circle, among others.
Participants will gather at the millennium trail near chill soda shop at 2 in the afternoon.
