The residents of BC have officially received a reminder from the provincial government that today is the day when the province’s vaccine card is the only proof of vaccination that will be accepted by non-essential business as well as recreational events in order to access their services.
The government allowed transition period that made it so people could use their vaccine records from their immunization appointments to get into/interact with these businesses and events ended on Sunday.
Provincial health orders have made it so that people are required to show a BC vaccine card in order to do things like eat at a restaurant or attend a professional sports game.
According to Health Minister Adrian Dix, over three million residents have either downloaded their vaccine card or printed out a copy of it.
