A party which had spilled on to the street in Kitimat early Tuesday was shut down by RCMP officers.
It was nearly 3:00 in the morning when police received reports of the disturbance from neighbours, including those concerned about a fight.
When they responded, the building resident told police that a party had taken place, and some attendees were still inside.
After confirming that there was no fight, the officers then advised the owner of Covid restrictions, and told him the remaining visitors needed to leave.
Police waited outside the residence and observed numerous taxis arriving and departing with former guests.
