Indigenous business owners across Canada looking to get more involved in the corporate world will soon have more support.
A new partnership seeks to lay the groundwork for Indigenous business owners looking to make connections in the corporate world.
That partnership is between the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council and the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Offices.
According to the new partners, they aim to form those connections in a way that promotes equity for Indigenous suppliers.
The two organizations say that partnerships are important not only to Indigenous peoples and the business world, but also to helping restart Canada’s economy.
