An outbreak declared in Prince George almost a month ago may be nearing its end.
On September 5th, Northern Health declared an outbreak at the Jubilee Lodge long-term care facility.
As of today, there have been 20 residents and three staff who have tested positive, as well as one confirmed epi-linked case.
Six residents have passed away as a result of the outbreak.
But, there is some good news, as there have been no new confirmed cases since September 10th, and there are currently no active cases.
The outbreak is still in place, however, and enhanced safety measures and monitoring are still underway.
