The North reports more than four times as many new hospitalizations as any other Health Authority, forcing the province to transfer ICU patients to other parts of the province.

With many hospitals in the Northeast already working through staffing shortages, health care workers have been stretched thin.

Now, in order to lessen a bit of that burden, Northern Health is making it easier to book Covid tests.
