One of the fourth wave of Covid’s largest outbreaks finally came to an official end yesterday.
Northern Health has declared the end of an outbreak at the Site C Hydroelectric Dam in Fort St John, which had been in place since mid-August.
Over the course of the nearly two month outbreak, 92 individuals tested positive for Covid but, remarkably, all recovered.
No new cases had been identified since September 15th, prompting the Health Authority to end the order.
BC Hydro recently announced a mandatory vaccination program which will cover all workers and contractors on the Site C project.
