In an effort to increase transparency, the RCMP have begun posting the results of watchdog recommendations online.
Recommendations posted come from the Civilian Review and Complaints Commission, who are tasked with investigating allegations of wrongdoing by RCMP.
Those claims can be anywhere from behavioral issues to investigation flops, and the Commission says they’ve sent about 117 final reports over the past year and a half.
Of those, the RCMP have posted 101 to the site, so far, but say they will be continually updating it.
22 of the posted recommendations are listed as completed, though the status of the rest remains unknown.
According to the RCMP, an update to the list is expected on November 30th.
