Prince Rupert Boil Water Advisory Downgraded to Water Quality Advisory

A boil water advisory which had been in place for nearly a month in Prince Rupert has been downgraded.

Initially, the advisory was put in place due to increased turbidity levels in the water supply.

Now, the boil water advisory has been lifted in favour of a water quality advisory.

Under a water quality advisory, it is still recommended that the young, elderly, and those with weakened immune systems continue to boil their water before consumption.
