Two Rivers Art Gallery in Prince George have put together on assortment of artwork collected over the years to celebrate its 50th anniversary, beginning today.
Titled “Reflections: A Meditation on 35 Years of Collecting”, the collection features numerous pieces acquired since the Gallery began its permanent collection 35 years ago.
Some of the displays also come from collaborations with other contemporary artists from across Canada.
The Gallery, located on Lheidli T’enneh territory, was built up via numerous donations by exhibiting artists over the years.
A soft opening celebration is being held at the Gallery tomorrow evening between 5:00 and 7:00.
Due to Covid restrictions, only thirty fully vaccinated visitors will be allowed, and must wear masks.
