Kitimat residents looking to get in a quick morning swim may have a more difficult time doing so for the rest of the week.
Between 9:00 in the morning and 1:00 in the afternoon for the remainder of the week, the Sam Lindsay Aquatic Centre will be limiting patrons.
In an effort to train new staff, the pool will be restricted to 40 patrons at a time.
In addition, the District has announced how new Provincial Health Orders will effect two other facilities.
Some services at both the Riverlodge Recreation Centre and the Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex will require a valid vaccine card with two vaccinations for everyone over 12.
Those 19 and older will also need to provide a piece of photo-ID.
Services that will not require proof of vaccination include: youth activities, drop-in public swimming and skating when facilities are unused, and outdoor activities.
