Terrace once again paced the rest of the Northwest in Covid cases last week, though they are still trending down.
In total, Terrace saw 66 new cases last week, down from 88 the previous week.
Kitimat saw a modest gain from the week before, registering 12 cases compared to 10, and Smithers went to 54, 6 more than two weeks ago.
Prince Rupert dropped to 26 cases, from 33, and the Nisga’a Health Area notched 17, down from 25.
Case numbers dropped significantly across the Northeast this week, with Prince George seeing 168, the Peace North reporting 91, and the South 101, and Quesnel facing 67 cases.
Vaccination rates remained steady across the North, with the much of the Northeast still significantly trailing the rest of the region.
