City of Quesnel Employees Will Need to be Vaccinated by January 3rd

Employees of the City of Quesnel will need to be fully vaccinated or risk losing their jobs.

Today, the City announced a vaccine mandate covering all employees, volunteers, and contractors working on or entering a City owned facility or worksite, effective January 3rd of next year.

Some exceptions will be made for medical exemptions, and protected grounds under the Human Rights Code of BC.

The full details of the policy are still being finalized and will be released at a later time.
