It was another week of leading the Northwest in Covid cases last week for Terrace, though they did see a sizeable drop.
According to the BC CDC’s most recent report, Terrace saw 49 cases last week, nearly half of the 91 from the week before.
Prince Rupert saw 10 cases, up from 1 two weeks ago, Kitimat jumped from 9 to 15 cases last week, and Haida Gwaii saw one more case than the previous week with 2.
Remarkably, the Nisga’a Health Area reported zero new cases last week, compared to 9 the week before, Smithers saw 27 cases, 5 more than two weeks ago, and Burns Lake dropped from 17 cases to just 5.
In the Northeast, things stayed pretty steady with the exception of the Peace North dropping to 56 cases from 95, the South saw 38 cases, and Prince George reported 97.
Quesnel saw 39 new cases, down from 48 the previous week.
