Rio Tinto BC Works GM to Depart Kitimat for New Role in Australia

Affonso Bizon, the current GM of Rio Tinto’s BC Works facility in Kitimat, is heading to Australia.

Rio Tinto announced today that Bizon will be heading down under to fill the same position at their Brisbane operation.

Bizon will be departing before then end of the year, and the search for a replacement is currently underway.

In the meantime, until a replacement is named, BC Works restart Program Director Michel Charron will fill in as acting GM.
