It was a modest jump in Covid cases for Terrace last week as they once again paced the Northwest.
Terrace saw 56 cases last week, up from 49 the week before according to the BC CDC’s weekly report.
Prince Rupert dropped to 8 cases from 10 two weeks ago, Kitimat registered 19 cases, four more than the week before, and Haida Gwaii saw 3 cases.
For the second week in a row, the Nisga’a health area saw no new cases, Smithers saw a sizable drop from 27 two weeks ago to just 12 last week, and Burns Lake saw 8 cases, up from 5.
In the Northeast, the Prince George and Peace North regions each saw 76 cases, while the Peace South saw 48.
Quesnel continued to drop cases again this week, hitting 14 when they were above 60 just one month ago.
