Terrace residents wondering what to do with their Christmas tree after Old Saint Nick has come and gone are in luck.
On Saturday, January 8th, between 11:00 and 3:00, residents can bring their trees to the Co-op parking lot beside the George Little House.
Residents who drop off their trees as well as a small food bank donation will have them chipped down and eventually turned in to compost.
Operated by the District of Kitimat-Stikine, and the City of Terrace, this year’s Chipping for Charity event will be a little more hands-off.
In order to adhere to Covid guidelines, residents will be asked to drop off their trees and leave them for processing later.
