Coastal GasLink has dropped all charges against a pair of journalists arrested near Houston last month.
Journalists Amber Bracken and Michael Toledano were arrested in November while reporting on an RCMP raid on West’suwet’en terrirtory.
They were two of nearly 30 arrested during a two day injunction enforcement near the Morice Forest Service Road.
That enforcement occurred after members of the Gidimt’en clan issued CGL employees an eviction notice and attempted to block drilling under the Wedzin Kwa.
Now, CGL, who own the pipeline that injunction protects, has dropped the charges against the pair.
The pair had been released to appear in court in February, but will obviously, no longer need to.
