As multiple provinces begin to lessen activities due to the omicron variant, B.C. health officials are saying that they won’t add any new restrictions.
One of the major complaints from businesses is that the rules seemingly change from week to week without any kind of advanced notice.
But Dr Bonnie Henry says she won’t be adding any new restrictions which did not sit well with members of the nurses’ union. Leaders of the Unions stated that they were flabbergasted by the announcement. They also said that this isn’t the time to start relaxing or back tracking as the case count continues to rise.
Dr Henry says if everyone adheres to the current restrictions, no changes will have to be made.
